Itinerary : Islands of Var
From west to east
Ile Rousse :
It is an island of 0.5 ha with an altitude of 18 m. It is located west of Bandol near the tip of Engraviers.
Ile de Bendor :
The Saracens devastated in 1259, she became a land of exile in the seventeenth century. In 1950 the island was deserted, today you will meet hotels, a convention center, restaurants, shops, yacht club, an international center for diving and beaches.
Every half-hour shuttle will get you there in 7 minutes from the port of Bandol. The car parks are on and around the port.








The archipelago is located in the town of Six Fours beach and the access is through the port of Brusc.
A small car park is close but the other car parks are at the turn of the port of Brusc.
The main islands of the archipelago of Embiez are:
- L’île du Petit Gaou.
- L’île du Grand Gaou.
- L’île du Grand Rouveau.
- L’île des Embiez.







Islands of Hyères or îles d’Or :
- Porquerolles: 12.5 km ², located opposite the peninsula of Giens.
- Port-Cros: 6.5 km ²: is a national park land and sea with a unique flora and fauna.
- Bagaud Island: 0.5 km ², classified subject, it is forbidden to access.
- Levant Island: 9 km ², occupied by a nudist camp and in large part a military base.
- The smaller islands, the Great or the islet Ribaud of Gabinière …



Le Lion de Terre & le Lion de Mer :
The islands are located off the coast of Saint Raphael.
Île d’Or :
It is private and located near Cape Dramont east of St Raphael. Composed of red rocks, it is built round a medieval aspect.
